Central Romania and the main sites we visited. Transylvania is in the heart of Romania, north and northwest of Bucharest.

Dear Paul,
I am organising a small trip to Romania and this is what I have managed:
28/11 Arrival in Bucharest at 20.00
29/11 Visit Bucharest
30/11 Go to Brasov stopping by Sinaia (Sleeping in Brasov)
1/12 Sleeping in Brasov visiting Bran and Prejmer.
2/12 This is the day I have a doubt how to spend it, since I have to go back to Bucharest for the flight next day
3/12 Fly back to Italy at 13.40
I have also a flight reserved from Cluj on the 3rd (since I found them veery cheap). So maybe on the 2nd I could go to Sighisoara or even sleep in the train…
Sounds like a good plan. Another option for your open day would be to visit some of the other fortified churches, each of which is unique. Rasnov fortress is another possibility. Have fun!
